PRIVATE COACHING

So you want to be happier, more productive, and more in control of your life

You're not alone. I know how hard it is to get out of your own way—to stop procrastinating, to build up the courage to put your creative projects out there into the world, to talk to that person you've created a whole fantasy life with, or to make better choices about your health and the time you spend online.

But it doesn't have to be that way! You can take control of your day-to-day life and create the kind of life you've always dreamed about.

I'm Matt Sherman, a coach who specializes in helping geeks and gamers just like you find your spark in life and make an impact in the world.

Whether it's anxiety or procrastination or low self-esteem that's holding you back from being happy with who you are right now, I can help you and I have helped people just like us!

Let me show you how!

It's time to get excited about your life again

You're creative and talented, but you still feel like you don't belong or that you're missing something special. You have great ideas and dreams, but they're just not coming together.

Maybe you even feel like your time would be better spent leveling up in a video game than trying to figure out how to get the most out of your life.

Or maybe all of this just sounds like a lot of work—like there's no way it could actually work for you.

Well guess what? It can, and it will!

And here's why: by focusing on the three pillars: character type (learning about your personality), story (the power of the hero's journey), and tools (NLP, hypnosis, mindset hacks).

Self-improvement doesn't have to be boring or difficult. Leveling up yourself can actually become more compelling than any in-game quest.

You can move forward with your life right now, by taking small steps every day toward the person you want to be. We'll work together to find out what those steps are and how they fit into your life—and then we'll take them together!

The Three Pillars

Let me explain more about the Three Pillars and how they can transform your life.

  • Character Type:

The first step in building the life you want is to understand the type of person you are. If you don't know what character class you are, how are you ever going to be able to play your best? This will give you a baseline for understanding how your mind works, which will help you make better decisions and take action more effectively.

When you can identify your strengths (and weaknesses), then you can use them to help create the life that you want. There are also secret hacks that you can do with your personality type to destress as well as communicate better with others.

  • The Hero's Journey:

You can't build a story without characters, and you can't build an epic life without having a hero's journey. By following this model for success, you'll learn how to get from where you are now to where you want to be.

You'll also learn how to appreciate the different struggles and choice-points along your journey so that you can always rest assured that you are on the right path.

  • Tools: NLP, hypnosis, mindset hacks, and more!
You can't build a house without tools, and you can't build an epic life without having the right tools to get the job done. These tools will help you achieve your goals faster than ever before and also improve your quality of life.

You'll learn how to create positive change in your life by immediately changing how you feel, removing negative habits, as well as installing better mindsets that'll allow you to clean up your mental clutter (aka messy mental inventory).

I prefer to use hypnosis as my main tool for getting results fast because it works like magic! It's fast (usually only takes one session), effective (usually see results within 24 hours), and fun (it's also relaxing).

“We stand upon the precipice of change. The world fears the inevitable plummet into the abyss. Watch for that moment… and when it comes, do not hesitate to leap. It is only when you fall that you learn whether you can fly.”

-Flemeth; Dragon Age II

If you're not willing to take the plunge, you'll never get off the ground.

Don't be afraid of failure—failure is just another step on your path to success. If you aren't failing now and then, then you're probably not trying hard enough!

We live in an age where risk-taking is frowned upon. We're encouraged to play it safe, keep our heads down and just "get by." But if we don't get out there and take risks, we won't grow as individuals or as a society. We need people who are willing to take chances, who are willing to fail spectacularly so that they can succeed later on down the road.

I've always admired people who weren't afraid to take risks. I've often felt like a bit of a coward in that respect, someone who kept their head down and just went about the business of making my way through life. But now I am encouraged to go out there and make mistakes—make lots of them!—so that when I do succeed, it will be all the sweeter.

Failure is not something to be ashamed of; rather, it should be celebrated as an important step on the road to success.

When something bad happens—when you make a mistake or have a bad day at work or lose a game—don't beat yourself up about it!

Every failure teaches us something about ourselves and how we can improve our lives for the better moving forward. So when that moment comes where everything seems hopeless and defeat looks inevitable… don't hesitate!

Gear up as good as you can and take that leap of faith into the unknown…

Here’s What My Students and Clients Say

She learned how to have less anxiety and more motivation so she could get back into her career as a body-builder and start working with clients professionally.

After one session, she got past her conflict with self-love because of some heavy emotional events and was able to reconnect to her creativity

In just one session, she finally had that motivation that escaped her and was able to get back to taking steps to improve her life. Bye procrastination.

He was struggling with a lot of anxiety from juggling work, fear of being around people (due to Covid), and having a newborn. After one session he wrote me and said "I think it worked too well..." because that anxiety he had wasn't even on his radar anymore.
